vyzkum a vyvoj Throughout its entire existence, the UniControls company has continued to build its team of qualified personnel for research and development in the field of control and communication systems for railway applications. Having our own research and development centre enables us to ensure that our products are not only of the highest level, but also to respond flexibly to new technological trends and to the requirements of our customers.

 

Focus of the R&D team

  • The rail industry, especially in the area of process control, together with the knowledge of and ability to apply the EN50155 and EN50128 railway standards and development processes in accordance with the IRIS quality system
  • Developing proprietary HW/SW solutions

Cooperation with Universities

The UniControls company has a long tradition of cooperation with academic institutions including the:

  • Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Electrical Engineering
  • VŠB–Technical University of Ostrava
  • The Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University in Prague
 
PROJECTS

SAFE4RAIL PROJECT
UniControls is participating in the Safe4RAIL project under the Shift2RAIL initiative to utilize the latest technologies for major rail transport innovation. the project is fucused to design and validate the concept of a new generation of train control and monitoring systems that will enable the effective integration of onboard applications with different levels of criticality, including the implementation of the SIL4 drive-by-data concept.

The Safe4RAIL project is part of the R & I (Research and Innovation) program of the EU Horizon 2020 program. It is implemented from 1.10.2016 to 30.9.2018.

 

 

 

OPEI PROJECT

Within the ICT and Strategic Services programme - Challenge I, the UniControls company implemented a project entitled "Information and Communication Systems for Railway Technology" - 2.2 ITS01/047.

This constitutes a part of the OPEI programme, the governing body of which is the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the CR. The project was implemented with the financial participation of the EU through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
